Stobart Home in Antiquity

Subject

Built by Robert Stobart around 1930, this home is located in Antiquity. Stobart was the superintendent of a coal company, which was nearby. The coal shoot was 90 feet deep and located just out of the frame of this photo. The coal shoot was flooded by the Ohio River and killed the team of donkeys which aided in mining, but no humans were killed.
