Mrs. Bowers was born In West
VIrginia on March 6, 1897, a
daughter of the late Edward and
Mary Ann Saxton Russell. She was a
member of the Middleport Church
of Christ.
Surviving are a son and daughterIn-law, George and Willa Bowers,
Springfield; a son, Lester Bowers,
Middleport; a daughter and son-Inlaw, Nettle and Willard Boyer,
Pomeroy; two sisters, Helen Elias
and Alfreda Christian, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchUdren,
and one great-great-grandchild.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Bowers
was pr'I!C!lded In death by , her
husband, 'Howard H. Bowers In
1900; a brother,EddleRussexll, and
two sisters, Grace Hoffman and
Mary Van Meter.
Services will he held at 1 p.m.
