Hundreds of men - with not a woman In sightwill gather at the Pomeroy Gun Club grounds June
20 for the club-sponsored , traditional, annual shoot.
This shoot literally reeks with Meigs county history. Its winners iloclude names of state and nationally recognized trap shooters such as the late Dr L.
G. Gribble and Eddie Epple, Ohio Co-Champs in
the first decade of this century, and both of Pomeroy.
· The shoot attracts men who are sportsmen, others who like to be around sportsmen. and still others who just respond to the atmosphere of a day
out in the open tuned to banging shootguns, convivial talk, plenty of good food, and other refreshments.
It is the kind of a day that eases a business or professional man's .jangled nerves and starts his ulcer
healing.

Retired Broommaker, Farmer Recalls 60 Years Work

for Frank Dailey who
makes his home a few
miles nurth of the Meigs
county line on Route 383
in Vinton county.
Mr. Dailey for nearly
60 years was a part-time
broom maker before he
retired.

Is still owner of a comlete outfit of now obsoete broom making equip.
