nation 's 4-H clubs. It was he who in 1902 met with
a group of rural youth-85 in number - to talk
about an organization that would focus young human energies into paths that lead to better Ameri~
can agriculture. Since that meeting in Clark county,

Ohio, over 2,000,000 youth, many by now in the

nation's small cities and towns, have become arJ~
dent 4-H club members. learning by doing, in dbz.- ;\ _ ~.:
