take a few dozen wili scurry over the steep
slopes of Middleport's roadside park looking
for one-or more-of over 400 eggs gaily colored for the annual Middleport-Pomeroy Rotary club sponsored Easter Egg Hunt.
Veteran club members believe, but aren't
positive, that this is about the 20th annual
bunt. This year Curtis Jenkinson is hunt chairman assisted by Paul Smart, Jack Welsh and
Carl Horky. As in recent years, every egg put
out is worth a cash prize at one of over 150
business places or from professional men and
women of the twin communities.
Children of the county home will be brought
to the park by Rotarians and given a treat af.
ter the hunt. Rotarians and firemen meet at
1 p.m. to "hide" the egga. Previout to tbil exercise for sometimes portly Rotarian buslnee
men is the pre-hunt "coloring party" Tbunday
night of which accompanying pictures give · a
graphic account.
Each year the little children of less-than·
