Of Leisure In Old Home Town

- the former Susan Allensworth - and three children ..Iimmer 12, Kristen 10, and Mike, 9.

Assigned to PACAF Headquarters in Honolulu
1 month spent leisurely in Middleport in July,
MaJ. Hartinger "hopes to get back in the business of
jet piloting." .
Routine tours of duty landed him in the Pentagon
as a captain in 1958. While liking his assignment
there in operations, he took off a year after his promotion to earn his Master's Degree in Business Ad·
ministration from George Washington University.
He hopes to work toward his doctorate between mls·
lions at the University or Hawaii. And the rank of
Lt. ColonU may not be far away.

as Collegiate AU-American three years in lacrosse.
Graduation brought assignment to Randolpb
Field at San Antonio, Tex., for pilot training, and

later to Williams AF Base. Ariz., for advanced jet
training.
Then, assigned to Munich, Germany, Hartinger
got another fling at football, playing wltb the Air
Force Football team which won tbe European cbam·
pionship. This team played at Wembley Stadium in
