The new Ol)io Tax Law pl'Ovides for an annual tax
of two mill!j on deposita in financial institutions in
U!is state. Under the law this tax is c&amp;lected frorn
the institution which in turn is given the right to collect jt from the depositors by deducting it from. their
deposit accounta.
The Citizens National ijank has decided to absorb
and pay the two mill tax which will be llll£e&amp;ed under
the new law on taxable deposits without charge tc
or deduction from the depositcr's account.
