            <text>Charles “Took” Salser, 93, of Racine, passed away, at 4:40 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in the Overbrook Center, Middleport. Born October 12, 1928, in Dorcus, Ohio he was the son of the late Grover and Emma E. Lucas Salser. He was a retired operating engineer for the Rish Inc., Columbus, Ohio.  &#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his wife of seventy-two years, Betty Martin Salser, a daughter, Diane (Larry) Jones, of Shreveport, Lousianna, a son, Steve Salser, of Buford, South Carolina, grandchildren, Shelly (John) Carruth, Shannon (Bill) Ahern, and Tyler (Brittnay) Salser. A brother, Ronald (Cookie) Salser, of Racine, sisters, Mannon Thompson, of Blairsville, Georgia, Rose Mary Evans, of Rio Grande, and Carmen (Sam) Price, of Portland, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Salser, brothers, Grover Salser Sr., and Lowell Salser, and a sister, Carol Birch.&#13;
&#13;
Per his request there will be no calling hours. Private family services will be at the convenience of the family.</text>
