            <text>Earl Kenneth Clemons, 67, Middleport, passed away at 12:53 a.m. Sunday, August 28, 2022 in the Overbrook Center in Middleport. Earl was born April 22, 1955 to the late Earl Everett Clemons and Gladys Atkins. Earl attended and graduated from the Marion-Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio He enlisted in to the U.S. Army in the early 1980's and was an honorably discharged veteran after a few years of service. He was a long-time employee of both Nelson's Tree Service and Asplundh's. He loved to fish and watch football, he loved collecting old things, but nothing he loved more than his family. Earl is survived by his four children, Crystal (De'Angelo) Nouguez, of Athens, Ohio, Matthew (Stacey) Clemons, of Crystal River, Florida, John Clemons, of Athens, Ohio and Robert (Jamie) Abbott, of Columbus, Ohio. Two grandchildren survive, Joshua and Sophia Hall, both of Athens, Ohio and four sisters, Brenda Weaver, of Middleport, Linda Wood, of Columbus, Ohio, Carol (Kevin) Mercer, of Hamden, Ohio and Debbie Elliott, of Columbus, Ohio. Fifteen plus nieces and nephews also survive. Earl was preceded in death by his wife of more than 30 years, Ethel Clemons and by a brother, Billy Deichel. Family and friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Middleport-Pomeroy Chapel. At Earl's request, cremation will follow.</text>
