            <text>Donna Byer, 81, of Syracuse, passed away, at 2:26 a.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at her daughter’s residence. Born January 13, 1941, in Racine, she was the daughter of the late Theodore “Ted” and Anna Galbreath Hilldore. She was a retired office manager for G.M. Fuel. She was a member of the Heath United Methodist Church, a member of the Riverbend Arts Council, and Alpha Iota Masters of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.&#13;
&#13;
She is survived by her children, Julie (Jeff) Hubbard, of Syracuse, Larry (Lisa) Byer, of Middleport, and Mary (Rob) Byer-Hill Cunningham, of Racine, grandchildren, Sara (Josh) Hupp, Molly Ann Hill, Scott (Jennifer) Hubbard, Stacey Hubbard, Kyle (Brittney) Cunningham, and Brooke Cunningham, great-grandchildren, Layne and Liam Hupp, Preston and Ciera Thorla, Harley and A.J. Hubbard, Grayson and Easton Cunningham, and Morgan Cutter, great-great grandchildren, Mason Richards, and Braxton Cutter. A brother-in-law, Charles Byer, of Baltimore, Ohio, sisters-in-law, Betty Hilldore, of Michigan, and Bea Hilldore, of Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Byer, whom she married on August 21, 1960, and preceded her on June 17, 2018, brothers, Lawrence and Paul Hilldore, and a sister, Hazel (Bill) McKelvey.&#13;
&#13;
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022, in the Greenwood Cemetery, with Rev. Will Luckeydoo officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Donna’s memory to the Heath United Methodist Church, 339 S. 3rd Ave. Middleport, or the Riverbend Arts Council 290 N. 2nd Ave, Middleport.</text>
