            <text>Donald  Lee Plant, 89, of Springfield, Ohio, and formerly of Powell,  passed away at 12:05 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 in the Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield. Born January 24, 1933 in the Corning community of Perry County, Ohio he was the son of the late Cecil and Elizabeth Jones Plant. Don was a retired supervisor from the Columbia Gas of Ohio. He was a member of the Powell United Methodist Church and a Master Mason of the West Gate Lodge # 623 of Free &amp; Accepted Masons of Ohio in Columbus and was also a 32nd Degree Master Mason. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Wanda June Halley Plant, his son, Timothy L. (Dawn Marie) Plant, of Powell, two grandsons, Travis Andrew Plant and Trevor Ryan Plant, his sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Mickler, of Corning, Ohio, Marlene (Glenn) Embrey, of Columbus, Ohio and Janet (Robert) Carman, of Statesville, North Carolina, brothers, George (Leah) Plant, of Corning, Kenneth (Patsy) Plant, of Corning, Randall (Patricia) Plant, of Corning and Robert (Vadis) Plant, of Corning. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John L. Plant. Funeral services will be 12 Noon Saturday, June 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Light on the grounds of the Kingwood Memorial Park in Lewis Center, Ohio. Masonic funeral services will be conducted by the West Gate Lodge #623 F. &amp; A.M. at noon in the chapel. Military rites will be conducted by the U.S. Army. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, 75 Grape Street, Gallipolis, Ohio 45631.</text>
