            <text>William “Sam” McKinney, 71, of Gallipolis, passed away, at 11:31 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2022 in the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Born November 21, 1950 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia he was the son of the late Alpha W. “Junior” and Margaret Waugh McKinney. He was a farmer.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margaret Patterson McKinney, a daughter, Sammie (John Queen) McKinney, of Gallipolis, a son: Billy (Bambie) McKinney, of Gallipolis, grandsons, Zach, Cole, Paul, Ryan, and Steven, granddaughters, Emma Paislee, and Shelby is on the way. Brothers, Jimmy McKinney, Charles (Valerie) McKinney, Eric McKinney, and Pete (Joyce) McKinney, sisters, Joan Swisher, Sally Woodall, and Sue Missen, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Malezewski, and Paul McKinney, and a sister, Jean Lathey.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis. Interment will be in the Patterson-Clonch Cemetery, Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia. Friends may call two hours prior to the services.</text>
