            <text>Howard Searles, 79, of Racine, passed away, on January 18, 2022 in the Holzer Meigs Emergency Department. Born May 5, 1942, in Mason, West Virginia he was the son of the late Pearl Searles and Betty Young McGuire. He was a retired truck driver.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his son, Steven (Whitley Parsons) Searles, of Ripley, West Virginia, grandsons, Jeremiah Searles, and Steven Searles, Jr. Sisters, Connie Hudson, of Middleport, Lynne Arms, of Racine, Recka Elder, of Louisville, Ky., and Ragena McGuire, of Reynoldsburg, Oh., a brother, Terry McGuire, of Pomeroy, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Searles, three sisters, and two brothers.&#13;
&#13;
A memorial graveside in the Pine Grove Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy, is entrusted with the arrangements.</text>
