            <text>Arthur E. Johnson, 82, of Racine, passed away, at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 in the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Born March 4, 1939, in Racine Ohio, he was the son of the late Douglas and Edison Weaver Johnson. He was a laborer and member of the Laborers, Local #83 of Portsmouth. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Racine American Legion Post# 602. He attended the Carmel-Sutton United Methodist Church and he was an avid sports fan and loved going to dirt track races.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his son, Patrick (Lisa) Johnson, of Bradenton, Fl., a daughter, Sheryl (Sean) West, of Miamisburg, Oh. Grandchildren, Patrick, Travis, Hadley, Hunter, Blake, Bethaney, Dustin, Sarah, Isabella, Holly, Dalton, eight great-grandchildren, special nieces, Angela “Angie” Nelson and Jennifer “Jennifer (Shaun) Seth, a sister, Nancy Prater, and a brother, Roy Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Carleton Johnson who preceded him on November 20, 2021, a brother, Douglas “Two Speed” Johnson, and a sister, Gloria Jean Manuel.&#13;
&#13;
A graveside memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, January 15, 2021 in the Carmel Cemetery for Arthur E. Johnson who passed away on January 3, 2022 and his wife Margaret Ann Johnson who passed away on November 23, 2021. Jay Rees will officiate and interment will follow.  The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine is entrusted with their arrangements.</text>
