            <text>Donald E. Scott, 85, of Mount Sterling, Ohio, passed away, at 5:29 pm on Sunday, August 29, 2021 in the Mount Carmel Hospital, Grove City. Born October 22, 1935 in Cheshire, he was the son of the late Charles Scott and Isis Fern Petters Scott. He was a retired parts manager for Cummins Diesel in Hillard, Ohio. He also served in the United States Army.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his children, Debra Mink, of Mount Sterling, Larry (Cindy) Scott Sr., of Mount Sterling, and Sherry Dingess, of Gallipolis, grandchildren, Dustin (Sara) Mink, Lindsey (Garrett) Robinson, Larry (Heather) Scott Jr., Emily (Alex) Vidoric, David (Amber) Barnett, Matthew (Meghan) Barnett, Ashley (James) Johnson, Bill (Alexia) Powers, II. Great-grandchildren, Mason, Olivia, and Benjamin Mink, Liam and Landon Robinson, Alison Scott, Lucey Barnett, Nora Barnett, Declan and Lilly Johnson, and Willow Powers, a sister, Anita Fife, of Cheshire, a brother, Jerry Scott, of New Haven, WV., and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Janice Lucas, and sons-in-law, David Powers and Nick Dingess.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.</text>
