            <text>John “Johnny” A. Doucet, Jr. of Middleport, passed away, at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at his residence. Born September 2, 1965 in Chalmette, Louisiana he was the son of John A and Anna Bertrand Doucet, Sr., who survive in Opelousas, Louisiana. He was a carpenter and was of the Catholic faith.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents he is survived of his wife of thirty years, Shauna Tackett Doucet, whom he married on May 11, 1991, in Rutland, children, William “Bill” (Carlisa) Tackett, of Rutland, Kasey Doucet, and Destany Doucet, both of Middleport, grandchildren, Hannah and Demetrius Tackett, Kasen Doucet, and Emborley Doucet.&#13;
&#13;
He is preceded in death by his son, who passed in infancy, John Albert Doucet, III, a brother, Don Mitchell Doucet, Sr., nephew, Don Doucet, Jr., niece, Monique Doucet.&#13;
&#13;
A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m.  on Saturday, July 31, 2021 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy.</text>
