            <text>Lynda Adkins, 66, of Portland, passed away, at 10:59 a.m., on April 8, 2021, in the Holzer Meigs Emergency Department, Pomeroy, Ohio. Born October 14, 1954, in Patterson, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late John Charles Richards and Frances Otha Loveday Richards, who survives in Portland. She was a homemaker.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Michael Howard Adkins, Thomas Dyer Adkins, and Frances Lynn Adkins, all of Portland, six grandchildren, Michael Adkins, Jr., Kaylee and Dalton Hyde, Ashlynn Jane Adkins, Thomas Adkins, Jr., Michelle Lynn Adkins, five great-grandchildren. Sisters, Kathy (Keith) Ray, of Newark, Ohio, Barbara Alkire, of Portland, Marjorie Richards, of Newark, Ohio, a brother, Frank Richards, of Cleveland, Ohio, the father of her children, Michael Dyer Adkins, of Pomeroy, and numerous nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, John Richards, and a great-grandson, Christopher lee Adkins.&#13;
&#13;
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later time and place. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine is entrusted with the arrangements.</text>
