Born December 3, 1937 in Green Township of Hocking County, Ohio he was the son of the late Leverett Raymond and Violet Lillian Taylor Ellis. Ron was a graduate of the Raabe School of Pharmacy at the Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio. He was a well-known Gallipolis area pharmacist. Ron had a passion for golf and spent countless hours on golf course with his many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Silbaugh and his brothers, Ray Ellis and Lawrence "Buck' Ellis. In keeping with his wishes, there are no calling hours or funeral service. Private interment will be on the family plot in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.
