            <text>ohn Thomas Chick, 83, of Bidwell, passed away, at 11:55 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, 2021, in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. Born June 24, 1937, in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late John H. and Emma May Patterson Chick. He was a farmer and a U.S. Army Veteran.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his children, Glenn T. (Flo) Chick, of Gallipolis, Timmy L. (Angie) Chick, of Albany, and Delta (Dwayne) Hamilton, of Bidwell, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren. A sister Joann Wheeler, of Dotham, Alabama, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Saryel Sue Chick whom he married on September 7, 1965 in Gallipolis and preceded him on April 9, 2016, and a sister, Lois Jean Province.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021 win the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, locally owned and operated at 75 Grape St. Gallipolis. Rev. Dr. Mark Parsons will officiate and private interment will follow in the Brush Cemetery. Friends may call an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.</text>
