Born December 30, 1951 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana she was the daughter of the late Daisy Marie Samson Day. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Richard Allen Elliott, of Gallipolis, whom she married on July 7, 1975 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, a daughter, Michelle (Kasey Gamble) Elliott, of Gallipolis, a granddaughter, Abigail Goodwin, a brother, Lyle Tanner, of Zachary, Louisiana. A special friend, Robert “Bobby” Siders, of Middleport, and a step-son; Jesse Siders, of Middleport, also survive. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2019, in the Chapel of Hope at the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
