Helen Virginia Harris, 95, of Gallipolis, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 23, 2019.
Born December 31, 1923, the life she lived was a great testament to her faith. She shared her faith and love with many on her life's journey. She raised 16 children, never complaining of the struggle. She had a heart of Thanksgiving.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harris; a son, Stanton; two sons-in-law, Kenneth Robinson and William Sharp; a daughter-in-law, Martha Harris; two grandchildren, Michael and Summer Harris.
Left to cherish her memory are her 15 children; sons, Charles (Ann) Harris, Jr., Larry (Connie) Harris, Richard (Wilda) Harris, Bruce (Elvira) Harris, William (Nancy) Harris, Mario Barcelli, Vient Harris, Janusz Harris; daughters, Norma Ragland, Lela Sharp, Carol Robinson, Eve (Gary) Smeltzer, Faith (Ricky) George, Lesa (Greg) Sias, Shonda (Paul) Johnson; 42 grandchildren; 71 great grandchildren; 24 great, great grandchildren.
There will be a private family celebration of her life.
