            <text>Phillip Jay "P.J." Richmond, 47, of Middleport, passed away unexpectedly, at 6:12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in the Holzer Meigs Emergency Department, Pomeroy. Born August 2, 1971, in Gallipolis, he was the son of the Late Richard Richmond and Callie Lewis Richmond Bradshaw, who survives in Middleport. He was security guard for Holzer Health System, a former Middleport police officer, and he loved to hunt and ride his motor cycle.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cathy Lambert Richmond whom he married on November 25, 1991 in Pomeroy, a daughter, Ruby Renae Richmond, of Langsville, two grandchildren, Caylee Ann Gibs, and Ivan Jay Gibbs, a sister, Kristi (Tim) Braley, of Middleport. His step-father, Art Bradshaw, three step-sisters, one step-brother, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Becky Lambert, a brother-in-law, Bob Lambert, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by an uncle James Richmond.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy. Pastor Randy Smith will officiate and interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Middleport.  Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Friday.</text>
