            <text>Homer Stephen Hill Jr., 57, of Middleport, passed away, at 5:19 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Born May 25, 1961 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Homer Stephen Hill Sr. and Julia Knopp Darst. He was a truck driver for Keystone Clearwater Solutions, LLC and a former supervisor for M.P.W. He loved to fish, golf, ride four wheelers, and just being outdoors. He was also the founder of Meigs Vinyl Outfitters.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his wife Beverly Powell Hill, whom he married on June 21, 1992 in Middleport, daughters, Aja (Terry) Lee, of Ashland , KY., and Maria (Mark) Mattox, of Rutland, grandchildren, Hayden, Cole, Morgan, and Weston Roach, Kyra Lee and Elijah Bigger. A special brother-in-law, Lawrence Powell, of Middleport, a sister, Virginia “Ginger” Doerfer, of Mason, WV., brothers, Charles “Butch” Mercer, of Gallipolis Ferry, Wv., Orville (Dorothy) Hill, of Middleport, and Leonard Hill, a special cousin and best friend, Richard (Diane) Knopp, of Vinton, his canine companion, Maggie Mae, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Josephine Knopp.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home. Cremation services will follow. Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service on Thursday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Homer’s memory to his wife.
