            <text>Bette Caroline Olson Burdette, 90, Elkvew, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord at 4:20 A.M. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in the Arbors at Gallipolis. Bette was born in Kansas on November 8,1927, daughter of the late Martin and Anne Olson. Bette enjoyed being a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was courageous, strong and loved her family unconditionally. Her love of God was ever present and she never judged anyone. One of her favorite sayings was "Do unto others as you would have do unto you". In addition to her parents Bette was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Daily, brothers, Herl and Raymond Olson. Bette is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, William Kermit Burdette, son, Michael (Darline) Burdette, daughters, Diana Parker, Beverly Farrell and Marsha (Pete) Larkin, brothers, Art Olson and Joe Olson, sister, Ruby Oldehoeft, ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 7. 2018, in the Hafer Funeral Home, 50 North Pinch Road, Elkview, West Virginia with Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Interment will be in the Elk Hills Memorial Park in Big Chimney, West Virginia. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Local arrangements in Gallipolis were under the care of the Cremeens-King Funeral Home.</text>
