            <text>Bessie Marlene Holley Duncan, 89, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at the home of her sister Shirley Watson. Marlene was born on March 28, 1933 in Bladen, Ohio, daughter of the late Peter A. and Allie B. Lane Holley.&#13;
&#13;
She was a homemaker and a member of Kings Chapel Church. Marlene loved the little children and her flowers. She is survived by three sisters, Shirley (Dale) Watson of Crown City, Ohio, Janice (Floyd) Stapleton of Crown City, and Naomi (Gene) Brown of Crown City; two brothers, George Holley of Gallipolis and Warren (Judy) Holley of Crown City; and several nieces and nephews. Marlene was preceded in death by two husbands, Raymond Bush and Harold E. "Gabby" Duncan; three sisters, Leslie Stapleton, Doris Jeffers, and Betty Johannensen; and five brothers, Beuford A. Holley, Dale Holley, Donald Holley, Basil "Sambo" Holley, and Melvin "Jack" Holley.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for Marlene will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastors Clyde Ferrell and Junior Preston officiating. Her burial will follow in Kings Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral at the funeral home.</text>
