            <text> Kevin A. Dailey, 72, of Middleport, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.  He was born August 9, 1950, to the late Howard and Roberta Dailey in Gallipolis, Ohio.  Kevin was proud of many accomplishments and affiliations in his life.  Among those are: began firefighting in 1978, retired as Fire Chief at Richland Township Fire Department, college instructor at Hocking College School of Public Safety Service, trustee with American Sternwheeler Association, the Roosters Family of Lancaster, Ohio, member of the Heart Research Team of OSU, lifetime member of Middleport Volunteer Fire Department, IFCA, OFCA, Fairfield County Fire Fighters association, COAFA, 2012 Knights of Columbus Blue Coat Award winner, Incident Safety Officer for Fairfield County Fire/EMS, member of Rushville Lions Club, and he held many licenses and certifications such as EMTP, FF1&amp;11, HazMat, Communication &amp; Dispatching with APCO, Drager Swede Flashover Simulator Fire Safety Officer, Fire Officer 1 &amp; 2, Driver training and Building and Fire Prevention And ordance divices.&#13;
     Kevin is survived by his sister, Bron (Lee) Williams; step-children, Clint (Jennifer) Donley, Kyle Donley, and Sarah (Ian) Nash; step-grandchildren, Fletcher Nash and Duncan Nash; niece, Chrissy (Aric) Patterson; nephew, Adam (Amy) Williams; and 8 great nieces and nephews.&#13;
     Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Pam Dailey.&#13;
     Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 1 pm at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio, with Kenneth Rookard officiating.  Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023, from 4pm until 8pm at the funeral home in Pomeroy.  A Fireman's Service will be held during the visitation hours.</text>
