            <text>Dr. Gordon K. Amsbary, 78, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.&#13;
&#13;
Gordon was born on December 13, 1944 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Arthur Wayne and Gladys E. Steele Amsbary.  Gordon was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School Class of 1962 and a graduate of The Ohio State University Dental School Class of 1967.  He was a retired dentist, who loved the Ohio River.  Gordon was a United States Air Force veteran.  He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Gallipolis Rotary Club where he had over 50 years of perfect attendance and headed up the fellowship for the club.&#13;

Gordon is survived by Brenda Davis-Amsbary of Gallipolis; children, Laura Amsbary of Columbus, Randy Amsbary (Denise Munson) of Fairmont, West Virginia, and Anthony Amsbary of Worthington, Ohio; one grandson, Ivan Figueroa of Pittsburg; one brother, Dr. Harry (Myla) Amsbary of Parkersburg, West Virginia; nephew, Wayne Amsbary of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; and niece, Kristi (Jason) Olivotti of Raleigh, North Carolina.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Wayne and Joan Amsbary and grandparents, Fannie Blanche and William Byrd Amsbary and Alex and Ella Steele.&#13;
&#13;
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023 in Mound Hill Cemetery with Kevin Dennis officiating.  Military services will be provided by the Gallia County Funeral Detail at the cemetery.  Friends may call from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home.</text>
