Born January 15, 1940 in Bidwell, he was the son of the late Curtis Shriver and Thelma Faye Nolan Shriver Lamm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by daughters; Catherine Yvonne Shriver and Cynthia Lynn Shriver, ½ sisters; Barbara Rossiter, Linda Waugh, Marsha Lamm, and Diana Unroe, and by ½ brothers; Garry Lamm and Donald Keith Lamm.&#13;

Merrill was a retired truck driver and a member of the Morning Dawn Lodge #7.</text>
