<text>Ralph James Bland, 53, of New Haven, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones at home after a battle with cancer. Ralph was born on March 03, 1969, in Point Pleasant, WV. Ralph was a hard worker and had a work ethic that everyone should look up to. He worked many years for Cyblair Lumber in West Columbia, WV, where he considered them all family. Ralph was the kindest man you’d ever meet and didn’t know a stranger. He deeply enjoyed spending many days at the racetrack watching his son, Triston, racing and thrifting through flea markets and yard sales. Ralph remained loyal to the one woman he ever loved, she always had his heart even after she passed away, and now they can be together again.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bland; brother, Peter McKinney (Lil Pete); and grandmother, Virginia Bland.
Ralph is survived by his mother, Joyce (Pete) McKinney; brother, Shannon (Dewey) Bland; sister, Angie McKinney; daughters, Kathryn (Austin) Pierce and Hope (Chris) Bland; son, Triston (Savannah) Goodnite; grandchildren, William Zerkle, Quinten Bland, Emma Johnson, Ariana Bland, Peyton Pierce, and Taya Goodnite; best friend, Brad Wheeler; and many more loving family members and friends.
Private services are under the direction of Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home. Monetary donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.</text>
