            <text>Brenessa Lee Phillips (Hood), 65, of Pomeroy, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Holzer Medical Center. She died peacefully surrounded by her family. Brenessa was born on February 25, 1957, to the late Harold Eugene and Mary June Hood.&#13;
Brenessa was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and making candy with her family and friends for social gatherings. She also enjoyed crafting and game nights with her close friends and family.&#13;
Brenessa is survived by her children, Brenda Wright, Amy Wright, Erica Lowe, and Autumn (Guy) Bing; siblings, Mark Hood and Philip (Tammy) Hood; grandchildren, Colton, Bethany, Emma-Lee, Paige, Christian, Eric, Faithy, Alexis, and Oliver; six great grandchildren; aunts, Charlene Cochran and Mary Kathryn Greer; and several nieces and nephews.&#13;
Brenessa was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Eugene and Mary June Hood; brother, Gene Hood; grandparents, Charles P. and Mary K. (Mammy) Williams; and great grandson, Braxden Henry.&#13;
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, 1:00pm at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Middleport, Ohio with Pastor Brenda McClanahan officiating. Burial services will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Middleport, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Friday from 12pm-1pm at the funeral home.</text>
