He was born March 25, 1934, in Langsville, Ohio, to the late F.W. "Buck" and Adria (Phillips) Wilcox. Flip was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member and past master of Middleport Masonic Lodge 363, and Star Grange #778 for over 50 years. He worked several years for Columbus and Southern (AEP) and retired as an automotive machinist and small engine mechanic. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Norma Gail (Holliday) Wilcox, son, David (Nancy) Wilcox, daughter, Darla (Richard) Williamson, grandsons, Michael (Trish) Williamson, John Wilcox, step-grandsons, Jacob Elliott, and Cody Elliott, great-grandsons, Adam and Owen Williamson, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert (Lanada) Wilcox, Raymond "Butch" Wilcox, and William "Tim" Wilcox. Graveside and Masonic services will be Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Standish Cemetery with reception following at First Baptist Church, Middleport.
