He was born on July 8, 1943 in Middleport, Ohio son of the late Vernon Lloyd Little and Glenna Frazier Little. He was the former chief of police at the Middleport Police Department. He is survived by his: daughters, Ronda Kay (Timothy) Stout, Theresa Lynn (Thomas) Wilson and Cindy Ann (Steven Oldaker) Little; step-son, Dwayne (Amy) Ohlinger; step-daughter, Mary (Michael) Vanmeter; grandchildren, Jeremy Rider, Rebecca Ingels, Sidney Little, Jack Rider, Adam Little, Tyler Vanmeter, Devan Vanmeter, Gabi Vanmeter, Gage Vanmeter, Jeremy Ohlinger, Phoenix Doerfer and Bryar Vanmeter; great grandchildren, Chloe King, Hunter King, Caylee Brooks, James Rider, Amanda Little, Charlotte Little, Carson Chambers, Sidney Little, Emma Ingels and Rylee Ingels; and his sister, Vivian Phillips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Kay Little; second wife, Edna Lorena Little; granddaughter, Brittney Renee Brooks; and step-son, Tommy Doerfer. A memorial service will be held on March 4, 2023 at 12:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
