            <text>James E. "J.E." Cremeans, of Patriot, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Holzer Medical Center.&#13;
&#13;
J.E. was born on May 8, 1940 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late James O. and Anoka Ruth Campbell Cremeans. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of Addison Freewill Baptist Church, and he had been attending the Bulaville Christian Church. J.E. loved studying the Bible and was a retired truck driver.&#13;
&#13;
J.E. was married to Tulica J. Gardner Cremeans on December 25, 1968; and she preceded him in death on May 31, 2018. He is survived by two sons, Joe (Rachael) Cremeans of Patriot and Dean (Tammy) Cremeans of Gallipolis; five grandchildren, J.T. Cremeans, Megan (Nathan) Hanna, Dustin (Tori) Cremeans, Ebony (Justin) Rabsatt, and Kaysey Scott; five great grandchildren, Brant Caldwell, Jack Cremeans, Gabe Caldwell, Easton Scott, and Gracie Hanna; and one brother, William "Bill" Cremeans of Patriot. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ivan Cremeans.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for J.E. will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Hood officiating. His burial will follow in Reynolds Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Military rites will be given at the cemetery by the Gallia County Funeral Detail. Pallbearers will be Joe Cremeans, Dean Cremeans, Matt Cremeans, Ben Miller, Jamie Smith, and Mark Cremeans.</text>
