            <text> With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Charlene Virginia Thomas (Walburn), our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on March 1, 2023. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her home in Middleport, Ohio. She was in her 86th year.&#13;
   Born 22 November 1936 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Charlene grew up in Middleport and married her high school sweetheart Harold “Buddy” Thomas.  Charlene was the beloved mother of Timothy Thomas and Teresa (David) Hubbard, and proud (great)grandmother of Adam (Katrin) Thomas (Nathan, Noah, Zachary, Johanna, Grace, Avelina), Ashley (Ty) Ault (Alexus, Aedre, Tyller, Romy), Dalton (Brianna) Hubbard (Holly), Travis (Megan) Hubbard and Tessa Thomas (Ariah, Zaiden). She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents Charles and Mabel (Graves) Walburn, her brothers Gene and Charles, her sister Marcella, and her granddaughter Tessa.&#13;
   A celebration of Charlene’s life will be held at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home, 264 S 2nd Ave, Middleport, on Monday, March 6, 2023.  The family will host visitation beginning at 12 p.m., with the services held immediately after at 2 p.m., followed by graveside proceedings at Gravel Hill cemetery in Cheshire, OH.</text>
