            <text>David Andrew Smith, 70, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, West Virginia. David was born August 25, 1952 to parents Robert and Delores (Hrubik) Smith in Akron, Ohio. David married the love of his life, Coleen Murphy Smith September 3, 1977 in Akron, Ohio and she precedes him September 28, 2022.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by children Lee (Jill), Atlanta, Georgia; Shane (Alma), Grantville, Georgia; Clint (Tiffany), Seattle, Washington; Samantha (Scott), Vinton, Ohio and Ian (Sarah), Jefferson, Georgia; grandchildren, Austin, Payge, Halie, John, Jake, Isabel, Adam, Rylie, Solomon, Matilda and Bodhi; great-grandchildren, Oliver and Amelia and brother, Bob (Susan) Grebelsky.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by son, Victor “Dru” Smith and brother, Robert Smith.&#13;

In keeping with David’s wishes, Cremation services are under the direction of McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Memorial services will be conducted 6:00 PM Thursday, March 2, 2023 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. A Gathering of Friends will be held 5:00-6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.&#13;

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice or “do whatever you want”.</text>
