            <text>Roger Joseph Belville, 74, Bidwell, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 25, 2023. Roger was born July 7, 1948 in Huntington, West Virginia. He was adopted and raised by his grandparents, the late Stanley and Eunice (Sheets) Belville and was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam Conflict.&#13;
&#13;
He enjoyed bowling and fishing, and hunting – and most importantly loved spending time with his family. A devout Christian, he was a member of French City Baptist Church, Gallipolis, where he served as Trustee and Sunday School  Director for many years. Roger was also a member of Vinton Masonic Lodge #131, Gallipolis VFW, and was employed for 29 years as an electrician at Meigs Mine 31.&#13;
&#13;
Roger is survived by his wife, Carol Smith Belville, whom he married April 24, 1971 at Gallipolis, and their children: David (Amy) Belville, Athens, Ohio and Jeremy Belville, Lewis Center, Ohio; grandchildren: Emily (Garrett) Greene, Ellie Belville and Caden Belville; brother-in-law, Keith (Ernestine) Smith and sisters-in-law, Glenna (Garland) Boston, Shirley Rogers and Lynda Smith and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
He was preceded by his mother, Eloise Laymon, brother, David Belville and infant sisters, Debra Laymon and Pamela Laymon.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor Mark Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Rio Grande, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM service time.&#13;

Pall bearers will be Caden Belville, Garrett Greene, Dylan Nunn, Darin Smith, Brandon Smith and John Roush.</text>
