            <text>Mildred Kathleen Neal, 96, years young of West Columbia, WV, walked through the gates of heaven to finally meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 4, 2023.&#13;
&#13;
Mildred was born on May 14, 1926, to the late Oshel and Georgia Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Ray “Jay Bird” Neal, a daughter, Virginia Bernard, and sons, Eugene and Charles “Monk” Neal; grandson, Ronald Keith Johnson and great-granddaughter, Kimberly Rene King.&#13;
&#13;
Mildred was a lifelong member of Spillman United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker until 1978 when she started work with the Mason County Board of Education as a cook. After her retirement, she continued to be a substitute cook for many more years. She then began a job she loved….being a grandma at New Haven Elementary School where she spoiled many children who are now grown with families of their own until the age of 90.&#13;
&#13;
She is survived by her son, James “Jim” (Jenni) Neal of Mason; daughter, Debra Lambert of West Columbia; son, Timothy (Patti) Neal of West Columbia; special sister-in-law, Goldie Neal of Pennsylvania; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Neal. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and extended family in Pennsylvania.&#13;
&#13;
Service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Chet Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Graham Baptist Church Cemetery, New Haven, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 12 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.</text>
