He was born May 25, 1926, in New Haven, WV, the only child of the late Earl and Anna (Burris) Kay. Robert was a retired inspector for West Virginia State ABC Board with 14 years of service. He also worked as a Barber in Ravenswood, Ripley, and most recent, New Haven. He enjoyed vacationing at the beach and attending car shows. Survivors include his beloved wife and companion of 51 years, Donna (Byus) Kay; son, Daniel Kay and his wife, Tirza of Letart; grandchildren, Braycen and Jealeen Kay. Services will be private. He will be laid to rest at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant, WV.
