            <text>Robert Earl Kay, 96, of New Haven, WV, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2023, at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, WV, following an extended illness.&#13;
&#13;
He was born May 25, 1926, in New Haven, WV, the only child of the late Earl and Anna (Burris) Kay.&#13;
&#13;
Robert was a retired inspector for West Virginia State ABC Board with 14 years of service. He also worked as a Barber in Ravenswood, Ripley, and most recent, New Haven. He enjoyed vacationing at the beach and attending car shows.&#13;
&#13;
Survivors include his beloved wife and companion of 51 years, Donna (Byus) Kay; son, Daniel Kay and his wife, Tirza of Letart; grandchildren, Braycen and Jealeen Kay.&#13;
&#13;
Services will be private. He will be laid to rest at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant, WV.&#13;
&#13;
