            <text>Darrell Lee Bechtle, 80, of West Columbia, WV, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Overbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Middleport, OH.&#13;
&#13;
He was born August 3, 1942, in Dunbar, WV, a son of the late John W. “Jack” and Euvetta (Barnett) Bechtle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John A. Bechtle.&#13;
&#13;
Darrell was a 1961 graduate of Middleport High School and was a retired Coal Miner from Meigs Mines # 2, with 27 years of service. He was a member of the Middleport Masonic Lodge #363 and Clifton United Methodist Church. Darrell loved his dogs, enjoyed attending auctions and collecting antique items.&#13;
&#13;
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Mary Ann (Hoffman) Bechtle; son, John D. Bechtle and his wife Vicki of Middleport, OH; sister, Sarah Klontz and her husband, Russell of Zephyrhills, FL and one step-grandchild, Brendan Nuscis.&#13;
&#13;
In honoring Darrell’s wishes, services will be private.</text>
