            <text>Charles Arthur Stanley Sr., 84, of Mason, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2023, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, OH, following an extended illness.&#13;
&#13;
He was born August 31, 1938, in West Columbia, WV, a son of the late Roy John and Delma Alice (Smith) Stanley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Stanley and brother, Pewee Stanley.&#13;
&#13;
Charles was a 1956 graduate of Wahama High School and served in the United States Navy. He was a retired Maintenance Superintendent from Lakin State Hospital with over 20 years of service. Charles was a member of the Mason United Methodist Church where he previously served as a trustee and assisted in the maintenance department of the church. He was also a member of the Clifton Lodge #23 AF &amp; AM, Mason, WV and enjoyed golfing, tennis, and socialized at Tudors.&#13;
&#13;
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Norma J. (Barrett) Stanley; son, Chuck Stanley and his wife, Angela of Mason; daughter, Cindy Stanley of Mason; grandchildren, Heath Stanley and his wife Tabitha, Heather Phillips and her husband Kevin, Charissa Stanley, Chandra Stanley (Colby Hood); great grandchildren, Ava, Landon, Easton, Carter, Kaia, Kamil, and Colton.&#13;

There will be no public services at this time.&#13;
