            <text>Richard Eugene Thomas, Athens, 66, passed away February 5th, 2023, peacefully in his own home after a 3-year battle with cancer. &#13;
   Born on June 16th,1956 in Athens, to the late, Richard and Thelma (Gabriel) Thomas.  He spent many years working for the Southern Ohio coal company in Meigs Mine #3 and #31.  In his free time, Rich loved being outside, fishing, target shooting, hiking, camping and taking rides on his motorcycle were his favorite things to do. &#13;
     He was a loving father to Richard Thomas (Missy Clowes), Aaron Thomas, and Colton (Rebecca) Thomas.  A wonderful grandfather to Skyler James Thomas and Dorothea Grace Thomas.  He will be missed by many, including his sister Rebecca (Rick) Snyder, many nieces, and nephews and cousins.  &#13;
    He was proceeded in death by his parents, and his brother Terry Thomas.&#13;
 Friends and Family will be received at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, 5258 Washington Road Albany, Ohio 45710 on Thursday 3-8 P.M., A private service and burial will be at the convivence of the family in Athens Memorial Gardens.  you may sign his register book at www.bigonyjordanfuneralhome.com</text>
