            <text>Johnnie R. Hayes, Reedsville, passed away Tuesday March 14, 2023, in Marietta Memorial&#13;
Hospital.&#13;
     Born September 16, 1950, in Nitro, WV.,  the son of Mary G. Hayes and the late&#13;
James M. Hayes.  Johnnie was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He went to Ohio University,&#13;
worked for Whitmore Cable,  and retired for Ohio-WV Lottery.&#13;
He also was a member of American Legion Post 21, Athens AMVETS Post 76, and a lifetime member of 40/8 AMVETS.&#13;
     He is survived in addition to his mother, a son William (BJ) Allman of Albany, &#13;
a grandson Aayden Jeffrey and Easton Hayes Allman; a sister Sue (Ken) Caldwell, brother Bill (Stephanie) Hayes,&#13;
many nieces, nephews, and friends.&#13;
     In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother Jim A. Hayes, and a sister Linda Lou&#13;
Shamblin.&#13;
     Services will be Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, with Military Services by&#13;
Albany VFW Post 93, and K.T. Crossen American Legion Post 21.  Visitation is Saturday 12:00 P.M. to&#13;
2:00 P.M. prior to services.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help&#13;
with funeral expenses.</text>
