Born February 29, 1940, in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Adam and Martha Francis Sloan Wooten. She retired from Echoing Meadows, and was a life member of Albany VFW Women's Auxillary, Albany Eastern Star, Albany Senior Citizens, Albany Seniors, and attended Bates United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter Joyce (Rick) Collins of Albany, a son Sonny (Mel) Davis of Minford; grandchildren Jessica (Jeremiah) Jordan of Albany, Tyler (Abby) Davis of Albany, Hunter Davis of Minford, Cody Soard of Minford, and Kalista Fuller of Logan; great-grandchildren Josie Jordan, Jaden Jordan, Jackson Jordan, Blaine Davis, and Beckett Davis all of Albany. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry "Sonny" Wallace Davis Jr., siblings Fred Wooten Sr., Margaret Thomas, and Michael "Mickey" Wooten. Services will be Tuesday at 1 P.M. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
