            <text>Esther M. Scragg, 78, Shade, passed away Tuesday May 9, 2023, at her&#13;
residence.&#13;
     She was born November 27, 1944, in Carbondale, Ohio, the daughter of &#13;
the late Clifford and Wilma O'Hara Jolley.  She was a retired school teacher,&#13;
and minister.  Esther was a member of Living Water Worship Center and Shade&#13;
Community Center.&#13;
     Esther is survived by her husband John Scragg, children Brad (Shirley) Largent&#13;
of Colonial Beach, Virginia, and Brenda (Wade) Lawson of Canal Winchester, Ohio;&#13;
8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister Merle Katzenbach of Canal&#13;
Winchester, Ohio.  Special thanks to her granddaughters Christina and Nakea&#13;
Butcher for the undying love and care during her final days.&#13;
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Bridget Bobo,&#13;
a grandson Patrick Largent, 6 brothers Santford Jolley, Dave Jolley, Chad Jolley, Darrell Jolley, &#13;
James Jolley, and an unnamed infant brother. &#13;
     Services will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, with Pastor&#13;
Jim Stewart officiating.  The burial is in Radcliff Cemetery.  Visitation is 2:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday&#13;
prior to the service.</text>
