She was born on April 12, 1964 in Lakeview, Michigan daughter of Sandra Joyce Sullivan and the late Kenneth Dale McQueen. She is survived by her husband, Richard Cole; mother, Sandra Joyce Sullivan; sister, Linda Kay VanHouten; niece, Brittany Jo Hall (Rowan, Aiden and Hunter); nephew, Michael Santas Hall; step children, Heather Cole and Chris Cole; mother-in-law, Esther Cole; sisters-in-law, Leslie Cole and Laurel (Patrick) Ashby; brother-in-law, Rory Cole and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Dale McQueen; sister, Deborah Ann McQueen; grandparents, Gertrude Alvira Sperry, Hiram Lloyd Sperry and Mary Elizabeth Peterson; father-in-law, Richard S. Cole; brother-in-law, Ryan Cole. Mary enjoyed being a jokester and making people laugh. She enjoyed her shopping, quilting and crocheting. Her sense of humor was unique and a bit sarcastic but was infectious. A celebration of life gathering will be held at their home in Pomeroy at a date to be determined.
