            <text>Mary Ellen Cole, 59, of Pomeroy, Ohio passed away on May 19, 2023. She was born on April 12, 1964 in Lakeview, Michigan daughter of Sandra Joyce Sullivan and the late Kenneth Dale McQueen.&#13;
She is survived by her husband, Richard Cole; mother, Sandra Joyce Sullivan; sister, Linda Kay VanHouten; niece, Brittany Jo Hall (Rowan, Aiden and Hunter); nephew, Michael Santas Hall; step children, Heather Cole and Chris Cole; mother-in-law, Esther Cole; sisters-in-law, Leslie Cole and Laurel (Patrick) Ashby; brother-in-law, Rory Cole and several aunts, uncles and cousins.&#13;
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Dale McQueen; sister, Deborah Ann McQueen; grandparents, Gertrude Alvira Sperry, Hiram Lloyd Sperry and Mary Elizabeth Peterson; father-in-law, Richard S. Cole; brother-in-law, Ryan Cole.&#13;
Mary enjoyed being a jokester and making people laugh. She enjoyed her shopping, quilting and crocheting. Her sense of humor was unique and a bit sarcastic but was infectious.&#13;
A celebration of life gathering will be held at their home in Pomeroy at a date to be determined. Richard will announce the date via Facebook.&#13;
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Diabetes or Kidney Foundations per Mary's wishes.</text>
