            <text>With heavy hearts, Daniel Ray Folmer, 50, of Pomeroy, Ohio passed away on May 27, 2023 at his home. He was born on July 18, 1972 in Gallipolis, Ohio son of the late George Whitley Folmer Jr. and Sharon Elaine Folmer of Pomeroy.&#13;
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Folmer; sister, Michele (Scott) Burton; the love of his life, Tina Johnson; son, Matthew Corey Folmer; nephew, Chase (Samantha) Burton; great niece, Layla; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Danny is also survived by his fur babies and his service dog "Pete" whom he cherished.&#13;
He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Folmer Jr.; grandparents, George and Cora Folmer and Charles and Betty Dill; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and wife, Debbie Dowell Folmer.&#13;
Danny was a very loving and caring person and was loved by many family and friends.</text>
