            <text>He could light up a room with his smile, but his light was dimmed by the selfishness of another. Zachary Stephen Carson, 33, of Athens was the victim of a tragic automobile accident on November 5, 2023.&#13;
&#13;
Zach was the only child of Renee (Tony) Carnahan of Racine and Steve Carson of Middleport. Born in Belleville, IL on October 27, 1990, Zach was dearly loved by many, especially his dog Chewie.&#13;
&#13;
 Zach is preceded in death by his Grandfather Ralph Trussell.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, Zach leaves behind his Grandmother, Jean Trussell of Bashan; Grandparents Pat &amp; Russ Carson of Middleport; Uncles and Aunts, Scott (Pam) Trussell, Steve Trussell, Peggy (Keith) Bailey, Roger Carson, and Janis Carnahan; bonus siblings--Rusty, Dakota, and Mackenzie Carnahan; and several cousins. Zach had a close bond with his best friends, Cody and Hilary Ridgway, whom he considered to be family.&#13;
&#13;
Zach enjoyed history, old comics, disc golf, old music and Marvel movies with Cody and Hilary. He was also an avid gamer and became good friends with a special group whom he referred to as his gaming family.&#13;
&#13;
A visitation will be held at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home, 590 East Main, Pomeroy, OH on Friday, November 10th from 5-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Carmel Sutton Church, 31435 Pleasant View Rd, Racine, OH on Saturday, November 11th at 1 pm with visitation beginning at noon. Graveside services to follow at the Meigs Memory Gardens, 45065 Eagle Ridge Rd, Pomeroy, OH</text>
