Eugene Anspach, 88years young, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.



Gene was born October 27, 1934 in Ada, Ohio to Paul and Beatrice Anspach. He had one sister, Saundra. He graduated from Forest High School in Harden County, Ohio.



Gene married Patricia Tourrey in 1955 and had five children. His second marriage in 1970 to the love of his life/soul mate was to Judy Chrisman. They had three children together. Gene lived his life learning many things. He had many jobs including construction, welding, HVAC, fabricator, electrician, business owner and chef, but his most important job was his ministry and spreading God's word.



Gene Loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His hobbies included woodworking and painting. He enjoyed gardening, hiking, golfing and being outdoors. He had a love of learning and would always try to learn a new craft or hobby.



Gene is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy; his son, Jeremy and his daughter, Kim. He is remembered by his children; Eugenia (Charles), Paul (Taylor), Vicki (Kevin), Sheree (Philip), Greg (Cheryl) and Lori (Steven). He also leaves behind his grandchildren; Kyle, Kelsey, Cullen, Ciara, Olivia, Jeremy, Schuyler, Eve, Gabriel, Tashia, Ian, Brittany, Brooke, Katherine, Nicholas. Blake, Paige, Kara and Keith. He will be missed by his 19 great grandchildren and an extraordinary amount of extended family members. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. His loss will be felt my many.



Visiting hours will be held on Thursday October 19, 2023 from 11:00am - 1:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00pm with Pastor John Swanson officiating at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Graham Cemetery where military funeral honors will be presented by the VFW Post 9926.
