            <text>Freda Cottrell, 91, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Arbors at Gallipolis.&#13;
&#13;
Born on January 14, 1932 in Lawrence County, Ohio, Freda was the daughter of the late Robert and Kathryn Johnson.  Freda graduated from Waterloo High School and was a receptionist for Holzer Medical Center Pediatrics.  She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.  She loved gardening, cleaning, and cooking.&#13;
&#13;
Freda is survived by her granddaughter, Devan (Dana) Gillispie of Vinton, Ohio; three great grandchildren, Tucker and Parker Kiskis and Vayde Gillispie; step grandson, Austin (Paige) Sheets of Gallipolis; daughter-in-law, Missy Cottrell of Gallipolis; sister-in-law, Jo (Ab) Stauffer of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Cottrell; three sisters, Betty Taylor, Geraldine Hewitt, and Neva Carter; and one brother, Robert Johnson, Jr.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for Freda will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Lusher officiating.  Private burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call prior to the funeral Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.</text>
