            <text>Phyllis June Brown, 81, of Gallipolis, Ohio, formerly of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Holzer Assisted Living.  Phyllis was a retired insurance adjustor for Kemper Insurance.  She was born on August 14, 1941 in Youngstown, Ohio, daughter of the late Arthur N. and Dorothy L. Shumaker Myers. &#13;

Phyllis earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Ashland Theological Seminary and her undergraduate degree from Kent State University.  She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, traveling, and leading Bible Studies.  Phyllis was married to Craig Robert Brown; and he preceded her in death in 2012, along with two sisters, Margaret Myers Davis and Marilyn Myers Murphy. &#13;

Phyllis is survived by three daughters, Shelley Rhodes Bartholow of Heflin, Alabama, Ellen Rhodes James of Oregon, and Aimee Rhodes (Scott) Blevins of Gallipolis; five grandchildren, Andrea Packard Mathis (Sean) of Nashport, Ohio, Joshua Packard of Naples, Florida, Recarlton Buchanan of Akron, Ohio, Grace Blevins of Spokane, Washington, and James Blevins U.S. Air Force serving in Italy; one brother, Richard (Lerma) Myers of Wooster, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. &#13;

The funeral service for Phyllis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023  at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Blevins officiating.  Friends may call prior to the service on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial and graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. in Glen Rest Memorial Estates located at 8029 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068 on Friday, April 21, 2023. &#13;
